Testimonials

"S is constantly making progress.  After our last intensive with you, his pelvis got really soft and flexible, and his crawling position got really better.  He always crawls with one leg after another and his four limbs get lighter and lighter! Also his voice is getting louder and his pronunciation is getting clearer.  Thanks to you, my family had such a happy and hopeful 2024.  I am always deeply grateful to you."

"R is doing well.  A few days after the intensive, he had an annual dental check in school and here's the teacher's feedback: "He is very cooperative and allowed the dentist/nurses to help clean his teeth."  His piano teacher also feedbacked that he is able to control himself for the past 2 times he had been in piano lessons after the intensive. There was no crying and no "eventful situations". He also does not like repeating to play the same song, but the teacher said he was able to repeat the same song 3 times and complied with the lesson.  One morning, I asked him "have you eaten?" and he said "yes". Then I asked "what did you eat?". He replied "breakfast". This surprised me because usually he replies with rice, chicken or whatever it is he ate. His response was unexpected.

One time in the train when we were about to alight he said "lets go". It was usually us who would say those lines when alighting but that time he first said it without prompting.  We did a jigsaw puzzle for the first time and it contains faces of animals and he seems to be able to form the animal face with the pieces. He knows which colors/pieces to pick. Something like he can picture how the pieces would look like when put together.

All the past and recent intensives really did help him. Thanks and really appreciate your expertise."

"My son is 3 years old and has cerebral palsy.  His arms and legs were rigid, and his back was always bent in a C-shape when he sits.  He had been taking ABM lessons for over a year, and this was his first intensive with Anisha.  Her lessons were amazing.  She is very aware of the child's tendencies and characteristics and uses them naturally in her lessons.  She catches the most crucial points for the child to move on to the next stage of his current development, and gave lessons in a way that the child could best accept and learn.  She is very smart and enthusiastic.  My son got used to her lessons after only his first lesson and enjoyed every lesson.

In such a quickly formed pleasant and comfortable environment, he was able to learn a great deal.  During the intensive lessons, his limbs became surprisingly light and soft.  He sits more balanced and stable than ever before and his C-curved back is also more upright than before.  He also began to crawl, moving his legs one by one.  It wasn't the time to teach him how to sit or crawl.  It was time that led him to become self-aware and feel his body in many ways.  He became very talkative during his lessons and chattered all day.  During the lessons, his brain seemed to be more awake, and everything seemed fun and interesting to him.  It was literally as if his "learning switch" had been turned on.  His eyes sparkled, and he seemed to have so much to say.

I love this method, which doesn't just improve the child's level of movement, but gives them the ability to think and find themselves on their own.  I love this method that makes my child feel happy and alive.  And Anisha is such a skilled, enthusiastic and wonderful practitioner.  The lessons with her were a series of happy and amazing times.  I'm looking forward to the next lesson."

"Our baby has central hypotonia. It takes him more effort than his peers to organize his movements, and he wasn't able to stand without support or plant his feet on the ground even at 15 months old, and showed few signs of being ready to walk. We had been doing physiotherapy for a while but the passive repetitive exercises really annoyed him, and most sessions would end with us being frustrated and our baby in angry tears. A friend recommended we check out the Anat Baniel Method, so we immediately contacted Anisha and started intensives right away.

The effect on our baby's movements and overall state of being was apparent. After the lessons, he slept better, had more energy, was more engaged in play, and started actively experimenting with new ways of using his body. One day, just after he turned 17months old, and a week after he ended another intensive with Anisha, he started walking out of the blue, and walked continuously for more than 10 minutes! It was completely unexpected for us, and we were overjoyed (imagine the happy tears). But it wasn't just about the improvement in his mobility. We also learned a lot from how Anisha interacted with him - the way she was always so sensitive to his intentions and needs, the way she observed and understood him, and how patient and gentle she was even when he got upset and irritable. We are just so grateful to have met Anisha, and to have tried out these ABM lessons!"

"Anisha connects to the child in such a way that he will be engaged in the lesson and participate voluntarily in the sessions. She balances giving boundaries and breaks when needed. Even though we had been to multiple intensives with her, there is always something novel that is introduced and the child learns in new and unique ways."

"I am the mother of a CP(PVL) child. My daughter was born prematurely and was in the NICU for about two months. Upon her discharge, we began intensive ordinary rehabilitation 6 days a week from the time she was 2 months old until she was 20 months old.  After learning about ABM, I stopped all ordinary rehabilitation and focused on ABM.  Over the years, she has taken lessons from many teachers, including those at the California Center in the United States.

Anisha allows some level of parental participation and achieves the maximum effect within a limited time.  In particular, my child has high tension and her legs are very stiff. However, after taking Anisha's lesson once, her legs immediately became softer and her range of motion increased. There was no direct massage on her legs.  When I take Anisha's lessons, I feel as a mother that my child is tired because her brain is processing a lot of information, not her body.  Anisha is the best practitioner I have ever had. I plan to visit Hong Kong periodically from Korea to take ABM lessons."

"We travelled to Hong Kong with our son for an intensive with Anisha and observed several changes during that week and for some time after while he integrated the learning. For example, his understanding/comprehension is better, he was calmer than before, his speech is clearer, he started playing/mingling with other kids, he became "sociable" in his own little way, he can wait longer, his attention span is longer than before and he is more aware of himself and other people/kids.  We returned to Hong Kong a few more times for intensives and each time we noticed that our son experienced further improvement."
